At the beginning of the 1980s, Reimo started producing equipment for the VW Bus T2 and VW Bus T3. The folding seat bench was an integral part of the camping bus furniture. A sleeping bench that could be folded down to form a bed with a fitting similar to a couch fitting offered more sleeping comfort from now on.
VW T4 sleep bench Variotech®, sleep bench T4 Variotech

In 1990, Reimo developed the TÜV-certified T4 Variotech sleeping bench for the VW T4 bus: a sliding and removable sleeping bench with headrests and safety belts for 2 to 3 people. Because the T4 Variotech sleeper bench is adjustable in length, it can be used in different positions during the journey, depending on the vehicle. In addition, the transport of long and bulky parts is made possible by the large variable storage space.

The sleeper bench Variotech was developed and produced for the VW T4, Mercedes Vito, Mercedes Sprinter, VW LT and Fiat Ducato.

With the VW Bus T5, the V333 sleeping bench was developed and introduced with a tested safety concept according to ECE 14 & ECE 17. Three-point safety belts for 3 persons are integrated into the structure of the backrest. The headrests are retractable and do not need to be removed when converting to a bed, so that a comfortable and level sleeping surface is quickly created. The seat and backrest of the V333 sleeper bench have an ergonomic upholstery design for high seating comfort. In addition, the V333 sleeping bench can be adjusted in length and removed. This creates large variable living areas and luggage storage space even for long bulky items.

We supply the sleeping bench V333 in Germany in different widths for: VW T5, Mercedes Vito, Renault Trafic and Opel Vivaro.

VW T6 sleeping bench V3000, VW T5 sleeping bench V3000
The V3000 sleeping bench is the successor to the V333 sleeping bench, which has been tried and tested for years. The TÜV-tested safety concept according to ECE 14 & ECE 17 applies to motorhome approval (N1) and car approval (M1) depending on the vehicle type.

The sleeping bench V3000 is a 3 person bench that can be moved and removed. The seats have an ergonomic upholstery design for high seating comfort. The three-point safety belts are integrated in the backrest of the V3000 sleeper bench and Isofix attachment points for two child seats are already fitted. The headrests are retractable and do not need to be removed when converting to a bed. In a few simple steps, a very comfortable bed with a level sleeping surface without any annoying belt buckles is created.

The V3000 sleeping bench can be locked in several positions during the journey, depending on the vehicle type. By moving and removing the sleeping bench, a huge, variable living and luggage space is created. The load volume of the boot is further increased by the rear upholstery which can be swung up. The removable front panel of the sleeping bench V3000 allows long parts to be loaded through. More storage space under the V3000 sleeper bench is made possible by an optional drawer.

Sleeping bench V3000: From bench to sleeping bench in just a few steps
The V3000 sleeping bench is a 3-person bench with integrated three-point safety belts. It can be moved and removed. The headrests of the V3000 sleeper bench can be lowered and do not have to be removed when converting to a bed. The sleeping bench can be converted into a bed in just a few steps. To do this, the seat is folded forwards, the backrest unlocked and then also folded forwards. This creates a very comfortable and even sleeping surface without any annoying belt buckles.

Sleeping bench V1000, sleeping bench V1000
The sleeping bench V1000 is a completely new developed 1-person bench, which is firmly mounted on the vehicle floor. The headrest is retractable and the safety belt is attached to the spar of the vehicle. In combination with the turned cab seats, a comfortable single bed is created. It has a flat sleeping area of approx. 200 x 65 cm or 190 x 65 cm depending on the base vehicle. As with the V3000 sleeping bench, the conversion to a bed takes place in just a few steps.

When converting Multistyle for VW T6 and VW T5, two V1000 sleeping benches are installed. This creates sleeping places for two people, which allow them to stand up independently without disturbing the other person. The resulting central aisle in the rear part of the vehicle allows you to go to the toilet, for example, without obstacles. By turning the driver's cab seats, a 4-person seating group is created with the V1000 sleeping benches.

We manufacture the V1000 sleeping bench for VW T6, VW T5, Renault Trafic, Opel Vivaro, Fiat Talento, Nissan Primastar and Ford Transit Custom. The sleeper bench V1000 is tested for N1 vehicles according to STVZO, ECER14 and ECER 17.

VW T5 Sleeping bench Family, Sleeping bench T5 Family, Sleeping bench T4 Family
The sleeping bench system Family was developed for the VW T4 and then further developed for the VW T5. The sleeping bench Family is an inexpensive, permanently installed 2 or 3 person bench. The three-point safety belts are attached to the outer seats on the vehicle's spars. The middle seat is equipped with a lap belt. The front panel under the Family sleeping bench can be removed to allow long items such as skis, snowboard or surfboard to be loaded through. The bed is created by extending the seat and backrest with the integrated rear upholstery. Depending on the bench, this results in a sleeping surface with a length of 185 cm and a width of 112 cm to 150 cm.

The installation is tested in VW T5 and VW T4 and a TÜV certificate for approval as a motorhome according to StVZO is available.
