Tent repair, tent fabric, canvas impregnation and cleaning
From Prym press studs to tent cleaner - here you can get your tent tight and clean!
Tent repair is made easy. Often all you really need is a little TLC to turn your leaky old tent back into a tight 'looker'. With powerful tent cleaners and the right tent impregnation, you can tackle leaks and dirty corners!
Impregnate awnings
To ensure that the sun awnings remain waterproof, it is advisable to clean and re-impregnate the canvas every two years.
Tent cleaner and tent care
Tent cleaners ensure that even stubborn dirt can be removed from tents and awnings. The tent cleaners should be matched to the materials used. There are tent cleaners that are more suitable for removing mildew from white or coloured tents.
Other cleaners are suitable for PVC-coated tarpaulins with heavy soiling. After cleaning, we recommend impregnating the fabric as soon as possible so that the weather resistance remains fully intact.
With modern, thin polyester and nylon materials, it is advisable to also check the tightness of the seams in the course of cleaning or to rework them with seam sealer.
There are also tent cleaners that simultaneously impregnate and are also suitable for sunshades and clothing.
The life of tents is often limited by corroded zips. You can prevent this with silicone spray, which is ideal for the care of tent zips, they remain smooth-running and last longer. If a zip does break, we also offer replacement zips that can be sewn in with the matching tent thread.
Tent repair
To patch smaller holes in the tent, there are practical self-adhesive repair kits made of tent fabric. These can be made of cotton or polyamide.
With the high-quality tent fabric or canvas, sun canopies and sun sails for camping vans, caravans and motor homes can be made individually. In conjunction with the pitching poles, brass eyelets and sewn-in piping, you can tailor almost any sun awning, sun canopy or sun canopy yourself.
