Das Dachzelt ist ein Stoffzelt mit Klappsystem. Die Leiter an der Basisplatte ermöglicht eine schnelle und problemlose Öffnung des Zeltes. Das Leiter-Rutschen wird durch das Automatic Ladder Security System (ALSS) verhindert. Die verstärkte Alu-Leiter ist leicht zu bedienen und bis 225 cm Länge ausziehbar. Ihre Stahlschienen ermöglichen auch bei Sand eine einwandfreie Funktion. Die Eingänge können ausgestellt und als Sonnensegel genutzt werden. Die Fenster sind mit Trauf, Moskitonetz und Doppelrollen versehen und daher wind- und regenbeständig.

Das Spezialgewebe verfügt über Eigenschaften, die auch strenge militärische Anforderungen erfüllen. Der Stoff ist dick, strapazierfähig und atmungsaktiv. Weder bei Wind noch bei einer morgendlichen Brise flattert er oder erzeugt Geräusche und sorgt so für ungestörte Nächte und ein ruhiges Erwachen. Der Stoff bietet ausgezeichnete Verdunkelung.
