The 12v compressor cooler
Would you like to cool regardless of the outside temperature? Do you have a plug with 12V or 230V available? Then nothing stands in the way of the compressor cooler.
The compressor cooler with 12V-230V is the absolute "non plus ultra" right now.
First a brief glimpse into history: The American Jacob Perkins (1766-1849) invented the first ice machine with compressor technology. This ice machine was operated by Mr. Perkins with ether and patented under the name of the ether ice machine in 1835. We have moved away from the ether over time and they have been in their current form for many years
How does a compressor cooler work?
These compressor coolers are based on the evaporation void effect. A compressor inside the cooler moves a refrigerant through a closed circuit.
By compressing the gas in the circuit of the compressor, it is compressed and the gas is heated. Liquefaction gives the gas in the compressor cooler a smaller volume.
The liquid runs into the evaporator, this process removes the heat from the interior of the compressor cooler. The gas reaches the compressor anew and the cycle begins anew.
Simply explained:
With this system, compressor coolers cool independently of the prevailing temperatures. A constant, adjustable cooling temperature ensures a good cooling result.
How much electricity does a compessor cooler need?
Compared to other alternatives, compressor coolers don't require much electricity. You can normally operate the small compressor coolers with 230V, 24V and 12V.
You can easily identify the compressor cooler by the separate compartments in which you can cool and freeze at the same time.
You are used to the higher price and the slight hum of the compressor cooler from your home refrigerator, so that's only a minor shortcoming with the small compressor coolers, isn't it?
Fresh and cool with a 12V compressor cooler!
Your compressor cooler can cool drinks and food to below freezing point. Whether Dometic, Thetford, Waeco, Engel or Carbest by Reimo - here you will definitely find the right compressor cooler for your needs. The powerful compressor coolers cool your food, like your refrigerator at home, down to the desired temperature again and again. This explains the slight hum that always sounds during a new cooling process. The warmer it is outside, the more your compressor cooler has to work to keep a constant temperature in the cold room.
Cooler drawer for installation
Cooler drawers can easily be integrated in the trunk lid or in the kitchen unit. With a cooler drawer with compressor technology, you can create great cooling performance even in the smallest corner.
Like almost all compressor coolers, you can use cooler drawers as a freezer or refrigerator.
The compressor coolers and the cooler drawers operate in the same way as your household refrigerator and keep the temperature by constantly switching the cooling unit on and off.
They cool with comparatively low power consumption regardless of the outside temperature. Sometimes the cooling capacity of the compressor cooler reaches below freezing point.
