The AKS 3004 comes with excellent design and with improved ergonomics. Lurching and pitching movements are noticeably reduced right from the start. Thus the only stabilizing coupling with 4 friction linings for trailers up to 3,000 kg total weight ensures safe and relaxed travel. Anyone who regularly travels with a trailer or caravan is familiar with the problem: from one second to the next, it can start to swing up. A dangerous situation in which the caravan can quickly take on a life of its own and break free. The AL-KO stabilizing coupling AKS 3004 provides a remedy. A stabilizing coupling for caravans, also known as a "safety coupling", is mounted on the drawbar of the caravan instead of the ball coupling. Then it is used to attach the car to the hitch of the towing vehicle. You can easily make the replacement yourself. You will notice: The stabilizing coupling significantly reduces lurching movements of the towing vehicle and caravan combination and makes it drive more smoothly.
