• Charge output board battery I , charging programs 1, 2 and 4 (gel, AGM, acid) on battery type adjustable.
• Charge output starter battery II: Separate secondary charge output with reduced charging current (12 V / 0.8 A resp. 1.5 A) for support charging and charge maintenance of the vehicle starter battery with protection against overcharging during long idle times.
• The charging voltage is free of peaks and regulated so that overcharging of the batteries is excluded.
• Two battery charging outputs: Automatic charging of the main or on-board battery (board I). Support charging as well as charge maintenance of the vehicle starter battery (Start II) with protection against overcharging.
• Supervised charging: Standard protection against battery back discharge (in case of insufficient solar power e.g. dusk, night etc.), against overload and overheating.
• Buffer operation: Compliance with the charging characteristics even in simultaneous operation with consumers on the battery.
• Overcharge protection: Regulates the charging current of the battery with too much solar power and full battery back, provides for power consumption by immediate recharging for the highest possible state of charge of the battery.
• "IU1oU2" charging characteristic: Defined charge voltage increase (U1) prevents harmful acid stratification and provides for equalization charging of the individual battery cells, then automatic trickle charge (U2).
• Bordnetzfilter: Built-in, allows the trouble-free parallel operation of the controller with other charging sources, wind and gasoline generators, mains chargers, alternators, etc. on a battery.
• Connection for temperature sensor: Automatic adjustment of the charging voltage to the battery temperature. Causes a better full charge of the weaker battery in cold weather, in summer temperatures unnecessary battery gassing is avoided.
• Unconditionally recommended when the battery is exposed to large temperature fluctuations, eg in the engine compartment.
• Charging cable compensation: voltage losses on the charging cables are automatically compensated.
• Measurement output for EBL (electric block of the vehicle): Allows convenient use of the (solar) current display built into the electrical block to control the solar system.
• Switching output "AES" (SR 350 CI and SR 550 CI only): Causes in case of abundant solar power surplus, the automatic switching of ELECTROLUX-/DOMETIC refrigerators with "AES" (Automatic Energy Selector) from gas to 12 V operation.
• Plug ready for connection of the Votronic solar display units LCD-Solar Computer S for optimal control of the system.
